As reported by the Goal, president Sandro Rosell and Guardiola and his agent, Jose Maria Orotbig, had met last week. The meeting was to discuss the coach a contract extension negotiations.
During the meeting, the president hoped that Guardiola would extend his contract with Barca for 12 months. This is done for the sake of stability of the club.
Guardiola is usually only willing to extend his contract for one year only. However, U.S. newspapers launch Guardiola is thought to receive tawarana management.
But, most likely Guardiola has given its approval to extend the contract at the Nou Camp for one year. Therefore, Guardiola is likely to sign the contract in January.
